Re: Which top team will flinch?
City losing Company is big for them. And Wenger is walking and talking like a dead man.! Neither Spurs or Leicester have had a bad dip in form anytime this season. And it's looking unlikely that either will. If I was a betting man. I would put money on Arsenal filniching first. The fans are on the manager back 24/7. Most teams in the league know. They don't like it up them.! And feel they are beatable. And just finishing in the top four. Would seem a failure to everyone in the media.!

Seeing Spurs end up 5th and us 4th is the stuff of dreams.

Re: Which top team will flinch?
Spurs for me. Their youthfulness will show when the pressure really goes on. Arse and City have been choking all season.

All Spurs away games are tough and they've got ManU at home also.

If LCFC can win their next 3 - eminently doable - they'll be out of sight.

Certainly hope I'm right as I backed 'em in December.

I don't think it will be Leicester they are relentless it's theirs to lose only Spurs I think can catch them, Arsenal have shot their bolt and city are to inconsistent. US.........Who knows?

Spurs would just be fantastic.
I don't think I could watch football anymore if Spurs end up winning it...

Arsenal are blowing it big time. We can catch them up.

Let's hope Hull put out their youth team tonight. We want Arsenal to be distracted by the Cup (as we are).

Re: Which top team will flinch?
I think it's important as well that have home games against Watford, palace and Swansea all of whom will hopefully be putting their feet up with nothing to play for

However I always find this part of the season odd - it feels so close to the end yet there's still a quarter of the league games to go. Anything could happen. What is nice is that it's largely in our hands - we have two big rivals for the top 4 at home, winning both of those would be massive

Re: Which top team will flinch?
Both Arsenal and Spurs are twitching already. City historically get the jitters we just need to hold our nerve in the league and the cup. Would be a fitting end to our time at UP if we could finish top 4 and/or win the FA Cup.

Thanks Willy

So basically it can't help us, only hinder.... be typical for Liverpool to win the EL, finish 8th and mean us finishing 6th wouldn't qualify for EL.

Won't happen though as we will be 3rd anyway!!

"Clubs winning either the UEFA Champions League or the UEFA Europa League," he said, "will not add an extra place to the total number of places available for that association in the subsequent club competition season – with one exception.

"The only time an association can gain an additional place in the subsequent season's club competitions will be if one of their clubs wins either the UEFA Champions League or the UEFA Europa League and, at the same time, does not finish in a place in their domestic league or domestic cup which automatically grants a place in a UEFA club competition.

"It should also be stated," he added, "that an association with, for example, four places in the UEFA Champions League can increase their participation to five places should a club from their association win the UEFA Europa League in the previous season.

"If that club has already qualified for the UEFA Champions League via their domestic league, then the association remains with four places in the UEFA Champions League. If that club has already qualified for the UEFA Europa League via their domestic league, it results in five clubs participating in the UEFA Champions League, and two – not three – participating in the UEFA Europa League."

Arsenal are already twitching like Redknapp's arsehole after a vindaloo. Definitely catchable.

Actually, the only side that has a decent run of fixtures and no other distractions is Leicester.

Though we are not under the radar to Gus Hiddink. He specifically mentioned us in an interview on SSN the other day.

Re: Which top team will flinch?
Have got a tenner on the top 4 at 50-1 which would be nice if it came in.

I love how under the radar we are, no pressure on us at all. All the sides above and around us will drop loads of points between now and the end of the season. Don't want to tempt fate but i can see any of those sides going on a big winning run.

No reason WE can't get go on a run though - almost got everyone back fit, great competition for places and a strong bench, confidence is sky high and we can beat anyone, anywhere.

Winning at Chelsea ain't exctly going to be easy, lads.

Darlo Debs 3:44 Mon Mar 7
Re: Which top team will flinch?
Us 2nd and Leicester as champions would send the likes of Graeme Souness into a tailspin and cause them to implode.

If that were to happen then who would you find it acceptable to finish 3rd? (I can't believe that we are even in a position to consider that as a viable option).

scott_d 3:39 Mon Mar 7
Re: Which top team will flinch?
alpha, agree a win against Chelsea would definitely put us even more amongst it.

Just trying to keep my feet on the ground as finishing above Man City or Man Utd would be an achievement in itself.

However, if we manage to overhaul Spurs and climb into 2nd... and stay there, then I win £12,500 so I'll be more than happy!!

alphaharps 3:28 Mon Mar 7
Re: Which top team will flinch?
Scott we are 6 points behind Spurs. If we pull off a win at Chelsea, i believe we will finish above them
